As Sales Planner you will play an instrumental role within a fast-paced regional sales team at CNN International Commercial, focusing on the CEE/CIS/SE region. You will assist in the daily running of the team and works across every aspect of the sales business, which includes pitches, proposals to clients and management of the team assistant. You will also assist in the coordination and communication, account management, representation and client needs across the markets. Responsibilities will include contracts, billing and other senior administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a media/agency environment and will have a strong knowledge of the global media landscape. They should also have strong leadership and organisational skills.
What you’ll be doing:
Assisting in the coordination, communication, and account management of client needs across the market.
Strategically developing proposals, media schedules, presentations and other supporting documents to relevant territories tailored to clients;
Supporting Account Managers and Reps in identifying new prospective clients within specified markets (proactive lead generation).
Campaign management, existing campaigns optimization through brain storming, data analysis and finding new ways of business.
Managing & developing the Sales Assistant along with all their duties to ensure all administrative needs are met and support Account Manager.
Supplying Reps with appropriate sales tools and following-up in identifying additional programming opportunities for existing clients.
Maintaining smooth running of active campaigns with assistant, ensuring client and reps are continuously updated on active campaigns.
What we’re looking for:
Educated to degree level in a relevant field
Some relevant media/agency experience
Knowledge of Global media landscape
Advanced Excel and PPT skills
Strong self-motivation skills and able to work with team and alone when allocated certain tasks and responsibilities
Ability to manage the team’s sales assistant as well as being managed by the Account Manager of the region.
Fluent in English
Ability to work well under pressure and have a strong attention to detail
good working knowledge of Russian
