TIBCO Software - Marketing Specialist

The key objective of this role is, under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Manager UK & Ireland and direction of the Senior Director EMEA Marketing, to manage the field marketing activities, digital marketing (including social) and campaign execution across the TIBCO Connected Intelligence Cloud (including our Interconnect Everything and Augment Intelligence product).

This role will work closely with the Regional Vice President, the sales team, pre sales team and professional services group. The Marketing Specialist will, in particular, work closely with the EMEA Campaign Architect, the sales teams and the business development team and will be involved in general marketing including event management, campaign execution, partner marketing, digital campaigns, social campaigns, lead generation, content creation, PR activities and budget management in a collaborative team environment.

The role will also assist other Marketing Managers in our Netherlands, Nordics and DACH regions as required and may be called upon to assist with certain larger, pan-EMEA projects.

What You'll Do

The job holder will be expected to perform the following: -

  • Assisting in managing the field marketing activities and lead generation programs in the UKI region including all types of events.

  • Working with the Global digital team to advise on and align digital programs for the region as required.

  • Planning and executing regional digital programs in addition to the Corporate digital activities above including social campaigns to support local activities.

  • Working closely with the EMEA ABM lead to manage local activities around the Account Based Marketing (ABM) program.

  • Co-ordinating the development, production and implementation of strategic field marketing programs that position the Company and its products in high visibility with customers, partners, prospects, investors, media and analyst audiences etc.

  • Working with external and internal resources on content creation including case studies and thought leadership material.

  • Assisting in the partnership with the PR agency for the region.

  • Serving as a liaison point between the Marketing, BDEs (Business Development Executives) & Sales functions as well as outside agencies, consultants, and others.

  • Campaign execution across the region, working closely with the EMEA Campaign Architect.

  • In conjunction with Sales, shares responsibility for the attainment of sales volume (Marketing Qualified Leads, Sales Accepted Leads) and financial goals (Sales Qualified Leads and Opportunities, Marketing Originated Bookings).

  • Managing purchasing processes (raising and tracking purchase requisitions and orders) and tracking marketing budget spend.

  • Partner marketing and partner liaison.

  • Working closely with the wider field marketing managers building a collaborative team approach.

  • Identify, recommend and manage outside resources as required.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of clearly stated objectives in terms of target number of MELs (Marketing Engaged Leads), MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads), SALs (Sales Accepted Leads), SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads) and

  • Marketing Originated Bookings per quarter

  • Quality of working relationships both internal and external to the business

  • Wider contribution to the team

Who You Are

  • Understanding of commercial and business challenges facing key prospects and customers in the UKI region

  • Market knowledge of infrastructure and analytics preferable

  • Experience marketing software or SaaS solutions

  • Experience of digital programs such as paid search, display networks, ABM programmatic advertising, LinkedIn or similar

  • Relationship management skills

  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to interface at all levels of management

  • Marketing qualification preferred e.g. Degree in Marketing or related discipline

  • Prior experience in field marketing, particularly events is preferred

  • Willingness to learn and work in a growing marketing team and expand the role

  • Highly creative, with strong copy-writing skills and campaign management experience

  • A self-starter who is confident, enthusiastic, very proactive and organised

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any one time and not afraid to be hands on in the role

  • Excellent IT Skills including CRM technologies (SFDC.com preferred), analytics tools and other SaaS applications

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Additional languages a bonus but not essential
