Threads Styling - Fashion Internship

Want to gain insight into a luxury fashion commerce business? You’ve come to the right place. As one of our valued interns, we’ll evaluate your unique skill set and provide you with duties that will stretch and educate you. You’ll leave Threads inspired and armed with knowledge for your next role.

By researching and sourcing luxury items, you’ll be helping us fulfill our global client orders, and by responding to customer enquiries, you’ll be aiding our fast-paced personal shopping team. Then you can help pack and ship items to our clients all over the world.

You’ll be supporting the Management Team and other departments by assisting with administrative duties and ad hoc requests, making the office run more smoothly.

First and foremost, you’ve got to love fashion. You’ll have a strong interest in luxury, a knowledge of trends past and present and commercial awareness of the luxury industry and its customer; you’ll display this with excellent research skills, a diligent work ethic and a positive attitude. You’ll be working to tight deadlines, so efficiency, organisational skills, patience and the ability to multitask are paramount. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are of prime importance when talking to colleagues and clients, and you must have an entrepreneurial spirit; able to be creative and resourceful in the face of challenges, and have the ability to work hard as an individual and in a team.

There are times when the office gets very busy and it’s all hands on deck. At these times, you must be flexible about your working hours. Things get done when we work together!

The preferred educational background is a candidate with a degree but if that's not you, don’t worry. If you have passion and the right skill set, get in touch.

Fulfill our ‘must haves’? Keep reading. The ability to speak conversationally in a foreign language, in addition to fluent English, is a bonus – in particular, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin and French. But let us know if you speak any extra languages and you’ll be an asset to the team.

Also, if you have specialist knowledge in a particular area of luxury (e.g. fine jewellery, luxury watches, menswear), please tell us about it. You must be London-based (or be able to move to London at short notice) or within reasonable commuting distance, and must have the right to work in the UK. Due to the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to give feedback on your application if unsuccessful.

So show us what you can do… We look forward to hearing from you!
