Sommet Education - Sales Support Officer

Position based in our London Office, 17 Devonshire Square.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

This role is part of a newly created team of global telemarketing advisors in charge of qualifying and nurturing leads generated via our marketing channels.

You will take responsibility for contacting all students and their representatives in your region who have registered an interest in our schools and programmes. In most cases you will be making contact via a telephone call although other channels may be used at times (e.g. emails, WhatsApp or LiveChat), depending on the student’s preferences and according to the campaign‘s profile.

The primary focus of the role is to identify the warmest and most qualified profiles to pass on to our team of Admission and Education Counsellors based in the field. They will then offer a personalized consultative approach to each qualified student, guiding them throughout our admission process.

In contacting all leads individually, you will take responsibility for updating our CRM (SFDC) with all qualified information, allowing the field team to have a greater and more personalized focus on students who are the most engaged and likely to be a good fit for our schools.

You will therefore also ensure that all leads are contacted in a timely manner, according to defined KPI’s and that all enquiries are answered professionally, respecting the appropriate brand standards. You will also reject unqualified leads, registering the relevant stage and information in our CRM. This detailed follow up on all enquiries will provide information to help us improve the effectiveness of our regional marketing strategies and to increase the number of qualified students joining our schools.

Desired Skills and Experience

This role is a perfect first career step into our Enrolment and Marketing team; ideal for a young graduate with 1 or 2 years’ maximum experience in sales, telesales and or telemarketing.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • University Degree in business management, hospitality or tourism

  • Must be completely fluent in English and in Russian

  • Experience in sales and customer support is required regardless of the industry

  • Strong communicator with good listening skills, an ability to clearly articulate ideas and a talent for advising and convincing

  • The role requires tenacity and to be target-oriented

  • Knowledge and understanding of sales CRM like SFDC would be preferable, but not required

  • Understanding of premium brand and high-end customer service attitude

  • Ability to work in a matrix structure with multiple stakeholders

  • At ease in a multicultural environment
