Schoolgate Accounting Services - Financial Accounts Manager

The key duties in this role will include: 

  • General Accounting including day-to-day bookkeeping activities purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger and asset register

  • Developing and managing business account to increase sales of financial product

  • Creating clients reports

  • Preparing of VAT returns

  • Reconciliation of bank statements

  • Monitoring income accruals and stage payment analysis

  • Project costing

Skills/ qualifications required for the role: 

  • Minimum 18 months of experience of working in accountancy practice

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in preparing bookkeeping

  • Experience in VAT and Payroll preparation

  • Working in working with various business sectors such as legal, hospitality

  • Proven Team Worker skills

  • Proven Project Management Skills

  • UK University degree in Business, Management or Finance, ideally studying towards ACCA/CIMA or similar or desire to study ACCA/CIMA

  • Experience in developing and managing of clients Business Accounts

  • Fluent English

  • Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage due to business needs

  • Working experience with dealing with clients from different background including international clients

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks or other similar programs

  • Interest and awareness inlatest developments in the area of FinTeck. Evidence of attending conferences, workshops, and seminars on the topic must be provided.
