RSVP corporation is looking for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Sales and Business Development Manager to join their London based team.
The role’s primary focus will be to analyse and finding potential advertising and sponsors clients for one of our products – a bespoke, luxury magazine and our events department, as well as negotiate with artists managers to bring them to UK, approach existing clients and raise brand awareness. Given the prestige and high-end status of the event company, this role is not your typical office desk job. A lot of focus will go towards attending art, culture, fashion and social events around London to establish personal contacts with the world’s leading brands.
The successful candidate must be confident in his or her ability to establish rapport at managerial level with leading luxury brands, possess excellent communication skills and a desire to achieve set goals. Remuneration will be heavily based on a very generous commission achieved via your sales targets. You will be supporting the team in many different ways, and consequently must be able to think on your feet and work well under pressure. This is a fabulous opportunity for an established professional to further their knowledge and to gain an invaluable insight into the luxury brands segment whilst creating new contacts and leads.
Implement ways to increase sales and devise sales strategy;
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities;
Looking for new potential clients for from Europe and USA and Russia, especially in the art world;
Work and expand current database of clients;
Working closely with Russian artists and Russian publishing market;
Identify potential sources of advertising revenue and partnerships to enhance sales figures;
Increase sales through online presence (min 10 website pages and banners exchange)
Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Manage key international affiliate relationships, actively cross-mapping publisher and advertiser programs, introducing new products & technology partners, and encouraging and supporting publisher launches into new markets.
Deal with incoming international events leads/enquiries from local markets and Client Services.
Work closely with the Client Services teams to build an in-depth understanding of our events landscape, establishing which events business models work best with which sponsors programs, and to identify where there are gaps in our network / specific sponsors programs.
Develop sales strategy; Work closely with Sales team to develop new business ideas and proposals.
Contributing to the Events Sales business planning process and contribute to the Network recruitment strategy
Regularly meet with events organising companies, and attend industry events.
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Must possess outside sales experience with proven track record of results in sales.
Languages required fluent or highly advanced level of speaking and writing in the
following languages Russian and English, other languages a plus.
Previous experience in art world and PR and marketing, media.
Excellent knowledge of art world, online media channel, planning.
Performance based marketing experienced required.
Good understanding and track record of working with clients.
Excellent analytical skills
Strong strategic thinker with demonstrated experience
Demonstrable influencing skills and strong commercial awareness
Ability to work under pressure.
