In this role you will:
In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Fats and Oils categories sourcing strategy, MSSM for Mars Europe, UK and Russia. The role is a key member of the global Confectionary F&O categories’ community and plays a key role in defining and implementing global strategies in Mars Europe. This position also acts as the project manager and work stream owner of category buying approach transformation as well as the COGS pipelines. You will be expected to apply appropriate price risk management tools across a range of categories. You wil manage the portfolio to deliver and achieve committed buying performance. You will also carry out and communicate scenario planning for the longer term category buying approach to help business planning and financial risk management. You will lead critical supply and supplier quality issues and come up with short term mitigation as well as long term continuous improvement/correction plan through cross function cooperation. You will drive commercial governance in line with commercial manual. Specifically in area of strategy, supply selection, business allocation and contract approvals and reviews. You will decide and formalize supply and services contracts and ensure robust contractual terms and conditions in place You will oversee and lead the Mars palm sustainability program in the region, develop and deliver Mars palm sustainable sourcing OGSM year on year through building sustainable business model & levering various external partnership in Europe, UK and Russia.
To do this role you’ll need:
Bachelor degree or higher
5+ Years working experience in sourcing /purchasing, supply chain management or relevant area; preferably in Consumer Goods industy
Advance English communication capability including reading, writing and oral English. Russian fluency is preferred
Experience of leading global/ regional project is required
Ability to travel up to 30%, including international travel
