TDIM is JLL’s technology department and is responsible for supporting Workday, and other Global applications.
In June 2016, JLL embarked on a multi-year transformation journey to improve its HR, Finance and Payroll functions. The transformation includes, new or upgraded IT platforms, new operating models, process simplification and greater use of shared services.
The programme’s vision is ‘to enhance JLL’s competitiveness, by simplifying the way we work and investing in new technology, to improve our Finance and HR functions and enable better business insights and decision making’.
In January 2018, JLL went live with a new HR platform Workday, followed by EMEA and APAC in October 2018. A new PS finance platform also went live in the Americas April 2018. Moving into 2019 the transformation journey continues, with PS Finance being rolled out in EMEA and APAC, enhancements to the Workday platform, and the start of deploying the Payroll Strategy.
The Payroll strategy has three pillars - operating model, process and technology. TDIM is JLL’s technology department, and in partnership with HR will deliver the technology parts of the Payroll strategy. Which is a complete retrenchment of Payroll globally.
TDIM are looking for a talented individual to support the Payroll Strategy programme. A project manager with excellent experience of Payroll, HR and the vendor selection processes. A self-starter, hands on, with a variety of skills from project management, stakeholder engagement, analysis and delivery against plan. They will be comfortable managing multiple small projects, while also preparing analysis for presentation, and working for the TDIM Global Payroll Lead to deliver technology solutions to our HR customers, whom will be primarily responsible for the Payroll transformation.

What this job involves
Help develop the tactical deployment elements of the Payroll strategy.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders and colleagues across JLL.
Provide direction and coordination, manage to a deadline
Manage Payroll vendors to ensure deliver to deadlines
Partner with Payroll and HR piers to deliver joined up solutions
Lead and manage resources to deliver outcomes
Build resource and deliverable project plans
Identify and manage the programme dependencies
Build and Manage Programme Quality Control Processes
Create, Monitor and Manage Programme Control Framework
Project Level Status Reporting
Project Level Planning
Issues and Risk Tracking & Planning
Partner, Assist & Support other workstreams
Build and maintain change programme documentation, tracking activities, deliverables, risks etc.
Keep the programme and workstreams advised of the progress of deliverables against plan and adjust the plan as necessary in line with workstream and programme changes.
Advise the programme and workstreams on the knock-on change implications of programme plan deviation and exceptions.

Self-starter, resilient, ambitious and hands-on when required
Excellent project management experience.
Solid understanding of Payroll Integration project activities
Experience of working with international and cross-cultural teams. Leading virtual teams and leading groups where there is no direct reporting relationship.
Proven ability to work independently and to challenging deadlines.
Understanding of Backoffice Payroll, Time reporting and HR processes.
An understanding of the nature of change, its people impacts and how to ensure colleagues are able to take on new ways of working.
An ability to understand and draw on a range of tactical activities and techniques needed to make change successful.
An ability to work with senior leaders and other stakeholders to gain their buy in and ongoing proactive support.
Facilitation and communication skills.
An ability to work effectively and build relationships at all levels in an organisation.
Must be able to work collaboratively and implement plans through a matrix of local change and communication leads, champion networks etc.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations, dealing with complexity and time pressure.
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
Preferable, experience in real estate
