EMEA Search Media Associate
iRobot seeks a Search Media Associate to join our EMEA team in central London. This is an opportunity for a driven, curious individual with a strong eye for detail, savvy analytical skills and a passion to innovate. This role is responsible for transforming Paid and Organic search interest into commercial results within a variety of platforms and portals across EMEA. Working within the broader central advertising team, this role oversees an agency’s assignment for Google/Bing while simultaneously addressing similar performance media opportunities in the evolving retailer landscape.
A successful candidate will enjoy solving problems and have a measured discipline during their on-boarding:
Establish a familiarity with iRobot’s commercial objectives and resource structure within the first 30 days clearly understanding ‘how’ and ‘why’ the team strives to achieve long term and short-term goals.
Engage Search and Content resources (e.g. tools and teams) to orchestrate campaigns shortly after 30 days.
Establish a cadence for sharing feedback with cross-functional and management team regarding performance within the first 90 days.
Essential Functions/Job Duties
Lead the investment strategy of Paid Search Media for 12+ brand websites in 7 languages.
Optimize paid campaigns to desired KPI providing frequent updates to management and business stakeholders.
Liaise with local EMEA offices providing guidance and support for Paid Search strategies within retailer’s portal using tools like Criteo.
Monitor and updated branded 12+ branded websites using Content Management System (CMS) preserving global consistency and enabling local success.
Synthesize web KPIs of iRobot.xx identifying trends and actionable improvements better serving customers’ path to purchase.
Liaise with global headquarters (USA) on a day to day basis providing guidance and status on initiatives.
Collaborate with broader EMEA Marketing teams to promote a consistent consumer shopping experience throughout the marketplace.
1-3 years of Search Engine Marketing (Google, Yahoo!, Bing etc.) experience with demonstrated knowledge of systems and processes necessary to create and optimize PPC campaigns within conversion funnel: bidding tactics, keyword research, landing page optimization, etc.
Experience in data analysis with strong MS Excel skills with a demonstrated ability to utilize advanced formulas and features.
Demonstrated knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, WebTrends etc.)
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proven track record of success in metrics-driven, high velocity environment. Must thrive working under tight deadlines and working with cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in person and in writing.
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising/Engineering/Finance/Maths or related field
