IMG LIVE - Territory Manager

IMG LIVE is an experiential event marketing agency that connects brands to fans through LIVE experiences. We are looking for 4 Territory/Account Managers to work on the UEFA Trophy tour from October 2019 on a 9 month FTC, ending June 2019. Proficiency in English and one other language will be required (German, Spanish, Russian and Italian are desirable).

In this position, the incumbent will be required to interface and sustain client relationships across multiple markets, nationalities, and languages with minimal supervision. The Territory Manager must be a proven people leader with demonstrated management, communication and event coordination experience.

The position is twofold, consisting of 5 months of pre-planning; this will include site visits, event layout/design, host city liaison, branding design and approval management, programming development, and local staff coordination.

From March onwards you will expected to travel every other week for 12 weeks straight (6 different markets total) and onsite management will include; branding, event logistics, overseeing install/dismantle, production crews, security and logistics. Liaising with sponsor/partners during events as well as event documentation/recapping. *Kindly note: During this time period no schedule/OOO conflicts can be permitted due to the tour.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Demonstrated event/sports marketing or event planning and team management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or equivalent experience in related-field

  • Strong management skills; prior internal staff management

  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) to include interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with large consumer brands

  • Previous experience developing training materials, presentations and programming for corporate/sales audience

  • Willing and able to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel as necessary

  • Must have professional appearance and persona with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude

  • Proficiency in English and one other language (German, Spanish, Russian and Italian are desireable)

  • Build and strengthen client relationships through leadership, relationship building and strategic program development

  • Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage numerous programs and resources simultaneously

  • Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to travel is required for domestic and international travel related to client work
