Hanson Asset Management - Russian Speaking Investment Analyst

Hanson Asset Management, London based private asset manager, is looking for an investment analyst to join London team and support Head of Research and Investment Managers.

The role will cover monitoring of client's portfolio, analysis of new products across developed and emerging markets, monitoring of macroeconomic factors. In addition, the role will cover communication with Russian & Azerbaijani speaking clients and advising them on potential product portfolios.

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting senior staff in their day-to-day operations
  • Preparing Powerpoint presentations for client meetings
  • Monitor investment valuations provided by underlying investment managers, down to a portfolio company level, primarily through interpreting and capturing Financial Statement information
  • Analysing any new investment strategies and preparing summary report for senior management
  • Producing reports and recommendations in relation to new products for senior management to review
  • Prepare a quarterly review pack documenting the portfolio’s valuations
  • Carrying out survey and analysing client's reactions to products in order to tailor product offering
  • Attracting new clients by arranging visits and explaining the benefits of financial products especially in emerging Europe jurisdictions

Key requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and a Masters qualification (at least one qualification should be in Finance)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Strong interest in the financial markets and good investment sense/commercial instinct
  • Ability to multi-task and work with numerous colleagues and desks across the Firm
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to act as a team member
  • Fluency in English and Russian languages in order to communicate with clients and review documentation in these languages
