Role objectives

The role of the L&D Advisor within Corporate Education is to provide efficient L&D activity support, to HR and employees in the business across all geographic regions, with a key emphasis on liaison with the Russian offices and on providing a customer focused service. This role will be responsible for the continuous improvement of L&D service delivery and reporting

Duties & Responsibilities

L&D programmes (including core offer, compliance courses, mentoring scheme, coaching, professional qualifications, external courses, People Manager Programme and language lessons)

  • Plan and schedule the L&D core curriculum activity

  • Receive and record activity and potential cost for ad hoc external L&D requests

  • Liaise with suppliers and make bookings for the delivery of the L&D curriculum and cultural activities, e.g. Learning at Work Week

  • Provide onsite support for suppliers and facilitators when delivering at GPG premises

  • Provide administrative support by preparing all communication (joining instructions, Outlook invitations, briefing documentation) to employees regarding their upcoming external L&D activity

  • Provide Line Manager support by informing them that an employee has been booked onto an external L&D programme, tracking and recording course attendance.

Scheduling and co-ordinating training/workshops

  • Act as the contact point for both employees and third-party providers

  • Provide administrative support, raising POs and payments, including managing e-learning programmes, organising training events, booking internal/ external facilities, confirming availability of third party providers, booking employees onto training courses (confirming date, time venue) and administering internal changes to course attendance

  • Collect, file and share training evaluations with L&D and the training supplier

Maintain the learning content management system – Learning eXchange

  • Actively manage, promote and develop the Learning eXchange to ensure an informative, engaging and user-friendly system. Including but not limited to:

  • Populating system with existing solutions and maintenance of content

  • Sourcing content that aligns with L&D Strategy

  • Improvements and ongoing development of core offer

  • Management of mentoring scheme

  • Ensure ongoing and engaging communication to employees and GM&T leadership

  • Use system to support capability work and projects

  • Administrative support and reporting for online compliance training

  • Manage professional qualifications, external courses and language classes

  • Manage templates for requests via docusign

  • Management of claw back letters and their implementation

  • Ensure all newly completed qualifications are recorded and filed

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and written skills

  • IT literate with a working knowledge of Saba - preferred

  • Fluent in Russian language

Experience

  • Experience of coordinating and administering professional L&D support for a global business

  • Knowledge and understanding of L&D offerings

  • Knowledge and experience of supporting a professional HR function in L&D budget management

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Relationship and supplier management; experienced in being an HR department’s first point of contact with external L&D providers.

  • Experience of working in a Russian company and understanding of what it takes to be successful in the business context

  • Confident and able to establish credibility at all levels in the organisation
