ROLE OBJECTIVES

This role will be responsible for managing Internal Communications for the entire GM&T Group and supporting the GPG Group Internal Communications team with a variety of day to day duties. Working closely with senior executives and stakeholders to establish organisational messages and keep staff informed of developments. The role calls for excellent organisational ability and an ability to maintain a positive attitude and remain effective under pressure.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing, writing and publishing internal announcements in GM&T

  • Writing and/or proofreading Group announcements (English versions)

  • Producing the internal online media

  • Promoting the company vision across the organisation

  • Preparing internal communications plans and timetable of actions

  • Participating in internal communications budget creation on Group level and monitoring internal communications activities in GM&T

  • Responsibility for the internal communications plan and strategy for GM&T – including change communications

  • Responsibility for maintaining the updating of all internal communications channels

  • Co-ordinating Internal Communication events

  • Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders

  • Building a strong network of contacts across the business

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Skills

  • Fluent (both oral and written) in English. Russian would be an advantage

  • Excellent Microsoft Office computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher)

  • Knowledge of SharePoint

  • Strong interpersonal skills and resilience

  • Concern for accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Strong oral and writing skills

  • Good project management skills

  • Knowledge of visual communications

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of working in communications, focus on internal communications work woud be an advantage

  • Experience of working in the energy industry would be an advantage
