EPAM Systems - Director of Physical Security

The Director of Physical Security will build and direct the strategic development, implementation, and administration of policies, practices, and procedures to safeguard EPAM’s critical, infrastructure, employees, customers and other assets, and delivery of services from both external and internal threats, and to insure compliance with applicable country, federal, state, local, and other regulatory requirements. Work closely in alignment with the EPAM Information Security and Compliance teams to insure Physical Security Systems are properly integrated with corporate IS Systems. Work with EPAM Regional Leadership and Security to coordinate, integrate, and implement Corporate and local physical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to update and support EPAM Enterprise wide Physical Security Policies and Procedures

  • Manage the development, implementation, and administration of the corporate and local EPAM Physical Security Program

  • Evaluate on an ongoing basis all Physical Security-related methodologies, procedures, and systems to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance

  • Manage the Physical Security development program along with Information Security team

  • Coordinate the work of Local Physical Security teams in all EPAM locations worldwide

  • Champion awareness, influencing compliance with security policies, and providing solutions for business-specific security issues

  • Prepare and deliver group presentations to create and promote awareness of and individual responsibility for the security of EPAM personnel, visitors, facilities and other assets

  • Support Enterprise Leadership with Corporate and Local Security needs

  • Understand modern Security Standards and needs (ISO 27001, ISAE 3402, NIST, etc)

  • Author and maintain enterprise security policies and procedures for staff, security officers and visitors as deemed necessary by the designated management team

  • Identify strategic security vendors, consultants, integrators as trusted partners for support of current physical security and electronic security systems

  • Define technical security standards for security systems i.e. access control system, CCTV, alarm systems, security barriers, lighting and security signage, visitor management, guard force operations, emergency response, etc

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of all physical, and electronic security systems and sub-systems to the designated management team

  • Set up, schedule and administer regular testing on all physical and electronic security systems and sub-systems

  • As member of the Crisis Management and Incident Management teams, have active role in crisis and incident situations and ensure the plans are executed

  • Participate in BIA, Risk Assessments, DR, BCP testing. Based on the results, make recommendations for improvements

  • Work according to the EPAM corporate rules, policies and working instructions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk and/or criminal justice and/or military experience preferred

  • Successful business experience and demonstrated expertise in working for a large enterprise

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred leading complex teams and projects

  • Additional experience in law enforcement and physical security, and Information Technology applications preferred

  • Understanding of Enterprise Level security management systems and video management systems

  • Excellent Communication skills in English, both oral and written

  • Fluent Russian is highly preferred
