EC-Council - Senior European Country Manager

WE’RE HIRING! Who we are: EC-Council group is made up of several entities that all help serve the same goal which is to create a better, safer cyber world through awareness and education. We are one of the largest cybersecurity training and certification bodies globally and this line of business will be the focus of this role. EC-Council creates content and certifications that are delivered through our channel of authorized training centers that consists of over 700 partners representing over 2,000 physical locations in more than 145 countries across the globe. Our certification programs are recognised worldwide and have received endorsements from various government agencies, including the United States Federal Government (via the Montgomery GI Bill), the National Security Agency (NSA), the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and GCHQ. EC-Council has received accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for our coveted CEH, CCISO, CHFI, and CND programs. We have so far certified over 220,000 professionals in various e-business and cybersecurity skills and are hoping that the new hire will help grow our European exposure.

The Job: Country/Channel Partner Manager, Eastern and Central Europe

The type of person we are looking for:

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and ambitious Country/Channel Manager who is has an interest and understanding of the world of cyber security and will hit the ground running when they join our team. You will report directly to the European Country/Channel manager and work with them to grow the territories that you take over.

Being a team player is the cornerstone to this role as you will have to interact with marketing, finance, and support teams internally as well as our all-important channel partners who will have multiple teams themselves. A love of people and a working with others is essential for success in this role so we are looking for that vivacious individual who can help expand our European operation.

The individual must be a self-starter and grasp every opportunity that comes up outside of your job description and skill set with vigour. It is a fast-paced environment and the individual must maintain focus and composure in the ever-evolving business climate


  • You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting and on-boarding new partners in your territory: we need new partners to increase our coverage across the European Territories.

  • You own and drive the channel in your territory. You will need to be adept at partner account management and business planning in order to maximise all sales and marketing opportunities from your partners in each territory.

  • Targets will be set for new business and organic growth from existing partners. Your target will make up a proportion of EC-Council’s European division

  • You will need to be proactive and hands-on with your partners. You will need to liaise with them to drive marketing initiatives, webinars, demonstrations etc to help meet your targets.

  • Help train partners to qualify target accounts and opportunities that will lead to sales success

  • Monitor and report on the strategic direction for cyber security on each country in your remit

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Channel business plan for the region: to be reviewed on a quarterly basis by the Region Manager.

  • Sales training a key part of the job and mobilising the sales teams of your partners will be critical to success


  • 3-5 Year Experience in Partner Management

  • Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree, MBA or technical graduate degree OR equivalent experience

  • Previous exposure to cyber security technologies would be ideal but not mandatory

  • Languages: German or Russian proficiency would be advantageous but not mandatory

  • Experience in European markets would be beneficial

  • Outstanding Presentation, Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Ability to develop strong technical knowledge essential

  • Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.

  • Ability to develop relationships and work extensively at the executive level.

  • Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently or within a team.

  • Strong leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00 to £45,000.00 /year
