Your Role

The primary focus of your role will be the support to the development of technology solutions to meet the operationally-focussed needs of our clients.  You will:

  • Define and capture stakeholder requirements using requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS) and partition and allocate these to delivery units;

  • Work with in-house architects to design and model solutions;

  • Lead Verification and Validation, including the creation of test strategies, plans and procedures;

  • Provide assurance to stakeholders that solutions are being developed in a way that means integration with their technology enterprise will be possible, and ensuring that once developed, they meet user needs; and

  • Assist the engagement director or partner with the technical elements of the sales process.

Requirements

We want people who will embody technology delivery - people who understand the connection between the business problem and the technology solution and have the professional and personal skills to make a real difference to our clients.

We are currently looking for Consultants through to Managers with specific expertise in the following:

  • 5+ Years of systems engineering experience, preferably within a DHSA context; 

  • Understanding of the procurement lifecycle, requirements gathering, evaluation techniques, negotiation skills; 

  • Experience with operationally-focussed data analysis and visualisation solutions in a medium to large secure environment;

  • Experience of modern Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices;

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following areas would be desirable: OSI 7 Layer Model; Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL); Database (e.g. Hadoop) and Cloud (e.g. Amazon S3) Technologies; Software Languages (e.g. C, C++, Java); the use of modelling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, RSA or MooD) and knowledge of SysML, UML, MoDAF and TOGAF.

  • Preferably additional experience with geospatial, imagery exploitation and OSINT/social media analysis tools products; 

  • A degree in an Engineering, Mathematical, Science or IT discipline; and

  • The right to live and work in the UK, be a British national, and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years.
