Delivering quality services to our clients in an ever changing environment will demand you to continually craft and adapt bespoke solutions for our clients. Often we need to go ‘above and beyond’ the technologies and techniques that are readily available in the Forensic Technology marketplace. As an Assistant Manager within our team, you will actively seek to meet such challenges with energy, creativity and enthusiasm.
The Application Management team is responsible for all aspects of supporting proprietary and third party applications and their related infrastructure environments within the eDiscovery business.
This is a multi-disciplinary role that requires the ability to provide outstanding levels of service in a fast moving, constantly changing and flexible environment. You will be able to demonstrate success in an application support and customer service environment and should have a technical understanding of hardware, software, development and production support methodologies.
You will act as an application support expert for the eDiscovery application environment and will be actively involved as a support resource in the incident management process. You will be solving technical issues in our application environment and infrastructure while working with third party vendors for support as needed. You will be expected to contribute to the infrastructure design to drive continuous improvements as well as being accountable for system availability and performance required to deliver high levels of service to our clients.

Your base will be a Deloitte London office, however travel will be required for client based projects. We work across a number of different industries with a variety of clients in locations across Europe and the globe.
Core hours are 35 per week. This is a permanent role.

To be considered, you must have the following skills and experience:
Fully qualified IT engineer with significant relevant professional experience supporting large IT environments.
Hands on experience supporting and managing secure web-based environments
Extensive experience with Enterprise Microsoft Windows Operating Systems & general networking concepts as well as virtual technologies
Experience in Client/Server technologies
Experience in Microsoft SQL database administration, tuning, scripting and management.
Experience in Storage Management
Experience in IT Security (Antivirus, Malware, Cyber Security)
Experience with parsing and scripting languages such as Powershell, Perl or VBscript,
Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Netbackup
Experience in Highly available 24x7 Operational environment
Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever changing environment
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
Willingness to work with internal operations team and clients beyond core business hours
The following will be considered an advantage:
Experience at an eDiscovery vendor or at a law firm
Relativity Infrastructure Specialist Certification
Cloud environment experience
Experience administrating a service desk solution
Strong experience with eDiscovery applications such as Relativity, Brainspace and/or Nuix
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Scom
Linux server administration (preferably CentOS and RHEL)
Understanding of the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production.
