Community Fibre is looking for a highly motivated, confident team player who has the ability to create, grow and manage client relationships with the focus on Russian-speaking business leaders. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, industry leading service provider, and will be helping to develop the sales strategy across U.K.’s residential and commercial property market.
Key to our success is ensuring the U.K.’s landowners understand the advantages of Community Fibre and want our network to be installed at their property. The Business Development candidate will be generally responsible for:
Identifying business opportunities, building and managing client relationships, winning permissions to install our infrastructure to improve the broadband within buildings
Driving awareness within the property industry and setting up meetings with key players, decision makers, and other potential strategic partners including C-level executives with the focus on Russian-speaking business clientele
Running general tasks to develop CIS related business including identifying strategic partners, investors, etc.
Presenting the benefits of our full-fibre solution to potential clients
Establishing long-term partnerships and working on developing strong, positive relationships with the landowners ultimately engaging them to become supporters and advocates of Community Fibre
Your success in the role will be measured by the number of permissions, in the form of wayleave agreements, obtained from landowners. The main focus for this role will be on Russian speaking private sector, although some clients may be within Local Authorities, Housing Associations and other freeholders and property developers.
About the candidate:
To be successful in this role we would expect candidates to have the following characteristics:
Fluency in Russian - You are native/fluent in Russian and are capable of accurately expressing complex statements and reports in both languages. You already have personal connections within Russian-speaking business community in London, particularly with property investors and family offices.
Social Networking and Sales Skills - You are well connected with a number of key influencers and decision makers within London’s property industry, such as REIT’s, asset managers, hedge funds, developers, etc. You are an effective communicator comfortable operating at C-level and explaining how Community Fibre can help landowners meet their digital ambitions.
Trustworthy - You are a confident relations manager with a track-record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships and managing complex stakeholder relationships both externally and internally. The foundation for all positive relationships is trust and so you will need to know how to engender trust in the people you meet maintaining a high level of integrity at all times.
Technically Proficient - You are technologically savvy and have an understanding of how Internet services work. You are passionate about innovation and tech, and the benefits a better Internet service can bring to Londoners. You will be expected to track your progress in our CRM system, carry out research and analysis to identify the target list of decision makers and influencers you want to speak to. You will have excellent PowerPoint and other standard office software skills as you are expected to create compelling presentations and reports.
Self-Motivated - You will be passionate about the benefits faster, better and cheaper Internet services can bring to Londoners. Your success will be evaluated against the number of wayleaves you obtain and the positive feedback you receive from our landowner clients. There are thousands of landowners across London and you will need to arrange your time to focus on building the relationships that will deliver the highest return. You’ll have flexibility to develop your own approach but you’ll need to work hard at developing your own leads so you can meet the company’s targets.
Professional - You are highly presentable, personable and articulate, and will maintain a professional appearance always keeping to the commitments you have made. You will be punctual and be prepared to put in the hours needed to meet your targets. Experience in marketing, public relations or investor relations is a great advantage.
Diligent - You will be negotiating legal and commercial terms on behalf of Community Fibre. You should be comfortable with reading through and understanding sometimes complex legal documents and identifying the key liabilities and opportunities for our organisation. Experience in due diligence and other legal environment (including 3rd party advisors) is a strong advantage.
