This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly motivated, has passion for agriculture machinery and people, enjoys challenge, and desires to succeed. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with potential and existing customers across the UK and France and aim to meet sales targets. You will help international agricultural machinery companies to promote their brands and establish their presence in the UK and France for what you will be greatly rewarded. You will enjoy travelling and demonstrating combine harvesters, tractors and other agricultural equipment.
You will have lots of flexibility, as the role is home based with occasional meetings when required. You will be a highly valuable member of the team where ideas are welcome and difference is celebrated.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Regularly attend meetings with prospective clients to gain a clear understanding of customers' requirements and introduce our products
Build and maintain great relationships with new customers to maximise future sales
Maintain high customer satisfaction rating; put customers in first place
Close sales and provide after sales support
Generate new business by researching and identifying potential clients, cold calling and other sales methods
Utilise social media and other marketing techniques to raise brand awareness to potential prospects
Attend exhibitions, trade shows, supplier meetings and site visits and to represent the companies as required
Attend companies’ facilities based in Russia, Canada and EU for training
Maintain product knowledge on features and benefits of all products potentially saleable by the dealership
Keep up-to-date with key trends in agricultural industry and main competitors in the UK and Europe
Survey customers to gather and analyse feedback
Have a relevant qualification, education, or equivalent experience within the field of Agricultural Engineering
Previous sales experience with a proven track record of winning new accounts and meeting targets
Technical knowledge and experience in repair of agricultural machinery is a plus
An interest in agricultural industry and general agricultural knowledge
Ability to present and demonstrate agricultural equipment to its maximum potential
Understanding of new market entry strategies
Strong ability to present the strengths/capabilities of the business
Ability to develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels
Negotiation and influencing skills, as well as problem solving
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and oral communication skills and active listening skills
Excellent attention to detail and tracking of performance
Fluency in English (Essential); native French or Russian languages is a bonus
Full Driving License (Required)
