As an Identity & Access Management Analyst you will be part of the team that is building a new platform and changing the way ASOSers get access to internal systems and data . We’re big users of Microsoft Active Directory and love things like Role Based Access. We’re also quite passionate about protecting our colleagues. Thus there may be the occasion al alert from our Threat Intelligence, Threat Analysts or our Secure Operations Centre. When an alert is received you will work with the Lead to determine how best to investigate and resolve the issue . In many cases you will work in conjunction with some of the other amazing teams at ASOS .
The Role Detail
As an Identity & Access Management Analyst, you will have the opportunity to join a n exciting and growing C yber Security Team . You will also get to learn how a Cyber Security function works as you will work alongside the other cool teams like Governance, Risk & Compliance as well as Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Security Culture & Awareness and Incident Response.
Reporting to the Identity & Access Management Lead, the IAM Analyst role is all about making sure every ASOSer and T hird P art y have the right access , at the right time and for the right reason! It sounds simple, and it would be if we were not such a fast moving, rapidly expanding global organization!
This is the perfect r ole for someone keen to start in Cyber Security and be part of Identity and Access Management, a new, exciting and growing platform at ASOS. But wait, there is a lot more to this role than identities, access and processes. Wit h the right coaching and mindset, you will also have the opportunity to learn and apply industry best practices and even introduce process improvements .
A key success criteria is the ability to operate successfully in an Agile environment in which much of the end-to-end accountability sits within individual infrastructure, operations and software teams. Collaborating with teams outside of Cyber Security and understanding the ASOS landscape is absolutely vital to succeeding in this role, requiring someone proactive in nature that is willing to go outside of t heir comfort zone when required.
Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- User Life Cycle Management: efficiently apply Joiners, Movers and Leavers processes as per agreed SLAs with business
- Apply S ervice A ccount M anagement processes
- Access Control s review of critical application s
- Troubleshooting of basic Active Directory data issues
- Monitoring of dormant, disabled accounts as per platform KPIs
- Action IAM related tickets that are raised on the Service Now portal as per business SLA.s
Technical Skills / Experience
- Analytical , problem solving and detail-oriented

- Love to learn by doing
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Any PowerShell scripting skill would be a bonus
- An awareness of security technologies and best practices is desirable
