We are currently working with a leading FMCG multinational that has a long and successful history within the personal care sector.
Due to the continued development of the business they are now looking to recruit a dynamic and driven Export Sales Manager who will take charge driving their business within the Central and Eastern European Region.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Building businesses from scratch in key markets by identifying and appointing the best distribution partners
Motivate and stimulate existing distributors to deliver sales and profit targets.
Develop and implement the marketing activity calendar with the distributors.
Work with the International and local Brand Managers to ensure the marketing activities are in line with the brand strategy/positioning.
Working with Distributors to realise successful implementation of agreed activity calendar and NPD (in line with P&L and marketing objectives).
Manage all aspects of Region P&L including the marketing investment
Prepare Profit forecast per territory, partner and brand in a timely fashion including gross sales, trade allowances and marketing expenditure
Prepare yearly Sales and A&P Budgets per distributor, with Quarterly Reviews, for the approval of the Export Director.
Monitor and control profitability of the markets, and report monthly on performance against sales and profit targets.
To be considered for the position candidates will need to have a proven track of working within the FMCG sector, have successful prior history managing distributors or an export business within the Central and Eastern European region in particular the Russian market. Individual with solely national experience will be considered but they will need to be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of the regional drivers.
The role will be base in our clients UK office, however our client is open for individual to come from within the region and are willing to assist in the successful candidate’s relocation to the UK.
