Your Opportunity

You’ll play a key role to support recruiting efforts for our EMEA offices. You will partner with business leaders to deliver recruiting solutions that will help Viasat reach the goal of connecting the world through high speed satellite communications. Working with smart, innovative people you’ll be recognized and rewarded for delivering first class services with the highest client satisfaction all while ensuring the candidate experience is industry leading. You will engage in direct recruiting across the region as well as act as a vendor manager where 3rd party agencies are being used in region.

Your Responsibilities

This position is a full life cycle recruiting and TA partner to the business. Your objective is to meet headcount goals and implement recruitment strategies for aligned business units. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated global sourcing team to provide the highest quality candidates across the business; then guide hiring managers and candidates through the selection and interview process.

Working with our TA team you’ll develop sourcing strategies, tactics and leverage online recruiting resources as well as our in-house ATS to both identify and recruit the very best candidates. In addition you will prescreen and interview candidates, utilizing behavioral based interviewing methodologies as well as work with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to manage interview scheduling and logistics with candidates and hiring managers. You’ll be expected to prepare candidates for interviews by providing specific information on Viasat’s business strategy, department background, and position requirements. Also, you’ll educate hiring managers on market research fundamentals pertaining to their relevant jobs, and collaborate on interview techniques when necessary as well as organize; lead and document post-interview debrief / feed-back with interview teams and candidates.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Thorough and efficient capturing of candidate information, and documenting within Viasat’s ATS

  • Provide recruitment status metrics to all pertinent, stakeholders regularly

  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, hiring managers and the wider TA and People and Culture teams

  • Provide cross-functional recruiting coverage for team members on leave / vacation / absence or crunch times as needed

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience as an in-house/corporate Recruiter for an enterprise company is a MUST

  • Expert level of knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence

  • Strong ATS / systems user with an Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite of applications

  • Fluent English and at least one other language. French or German preferred

  • Experience in Technical Recruiting is preferred but not essential
