The mobile field service team develops a range of applications ( iOS, Android, and Windows Desktop) used by thousands of service engineers every day. Our applications support engineers in their day to day work and help streamline work processes for engineers and their organizations. We aim to improve the experience of organizations and engineers who leverage our software and assist them in delivering outstanding field service moments to their customers.
We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Switzerland, who can hit the ground running and take our product to the next level. You will empower your team to maintain a high level of quality in our products. You will join a highly talented team that focuses on manual testing, automated testing, end to end testing, test strategy, and process improvements, while working in an embedded manner within cross-functional engineering and product teams.
You will ensure that SAP software maintains a high-quality by building test strategies, test plans, and communicating a clear and scalable test strategy to the team.
Writing automated tests and discussing with teams about issues, risks, and how to mitigate them.
Continuously Identify and execute upon opportunities to improve the QA process.
Drive improvements by outlining clear goals and metrics for success.
You will work with engineering to triage inbound bug reports and reproduce reported issues.
Planning/organizing necessary test passes, staying on top of all-important issues, helping triage bugs and driving issues to resolution, and keeping everyone aware of QA status
Work across teams to understand how your product is interacting with 3rd party systems and provide the right test coverage
Help ensure that frequent deployments run smoothly and maintain a high level of quality.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering with at least 5 years Quality Assurance experience.
Experience writing Automated tests for mobile application, considering end to end user flows
Experience with testing of native clients on desktop & mobile platforms (Android or iOS) utilizing both physical devices and running on simulators/emulators.
Knowledge of test and tool development methodology.
Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, XCTest, TestNG or Allure.
Experience with a CI system such as Bamboo or Xcode server.
Familiar with at least one coding language (Java, Kotlin, Objective C or Swift)
You are experienced with all DevOps practices and coach your team while always helping to optimize their outcome.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, low-structure, constantly-changing atmosphere and prioritizing work appropriately
Effective and efficient communicator both spoken and written ( English, German is a plus)
