Nord Anglia Education - Polyvalent Assistant

Main Purpose of the Role:

This position is to provide technical support to the summer camp programme, ensuring sound systems and animations run smoothly, together with providing IT assistance to the Language Department in the morning.

Conditions:

  • Dates: 01.07-18.08

  • Hours: 8.5 hours per day

  • Day off: 1 day per week

  • Salary: 1st Year: CHF 1,750 per session / 2nd Year: CHF 2,000 per session

Key Responsibilities:

  • In charge of music during summer camp

  • Provide sound and lighting support during day and evening activities

  • To be available for IT support in classrooms, computer and language labs, and during drama presentations

  • Find solutions to IT problems

  • Prepare IT equipment for presentations

  • Create a book and video souvenir for students

  • Ensure compliance with Collège du Léman health and safety regulations and look after school equipment

  • Teach various activities during summer camp

  • Provide administrative support

Skills and Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of IT, sound, lighting and video

  • Responsible and autonomous

  • Languages required: English and French (Chinese, Russian, Japanese or Arabic is a plus)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Works well under pressure

  • Motivated, dynamic, flexible, professional, organised, and creative

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Available in July and August
