WaterWipes has an excellent opportunity for a Key Account Specialist to join our growing team at it’s head office in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building and maintaining a trusting relationship with our customers/ distributors and the commercial team.
To succeed in this role, the Key Account Specialist should understand high customer service level expectations, be an excellent communicator, with the ability to work with cross functional departments to ensure goals are met. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure Customers and Distributors are satisfied with our products and services as well as complaint handling in a professional manner. The preferred candidate will have experience in FMCG, Customer Service and Supply Chain.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Manage all day to day aspects of the Customer order process ie Order management, Minimum order quantities (MOQ’s), backorder processing
Complaint handling with ability to work with key stakeholders behind the scene to understand root cause and corrective actions.
Liaise with planning, Sales & Marketing and Finance departments to ensure the customers expectations are met within a prompt manner.
Maintain all Customer application forms and customer master data files on the Movex System.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Customers & Distributors and internal stakeholders.
Conduct Quarterly business reviews with Customers & Distributors to ensure they are satisfied with our products and our services.
Attend regular meetings with Commercial team and Customers/Distributors to build relationships with existing accounts.
Escalating and resolving issues of concern as raised by clients and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
Logging of issues and resolution of all Customer & Distributor complaints.
On time in full (OTIF) KPI development, measure, evaluation and publication.

Minimum of 3 years Key account / Customer Account Management.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
Previous experience working as a client relationship manager or a track record of managing client relationships is an advantage.
Ability to work on own initiative and drive continuous improvements
Previous FMCG experience
A 2nd language will be a distinct advantage: ie Spanish, German, French, Russian
Travel will be an essential part of this role (Approx 30%)
It may be required to start work earlier in order to service the designated region. Flexibility will be a required by the successful candidate.
