Sanmina Corporation - Business Systems Analyst


  • Maintain thorough knowledge about Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • Serve as a pro-active interface between IT organizations and the business process owners / business users
  • Drive system and process improvements
  • Lead or participate in related projects


Business Process Analysis:

  • Analyze & document business processes used in the company in order to provide IT solutions to support those
  • Understand and be up-to-date on Corporate business processes in order to recommend and implement those
  • Suggest enhancements to business processes

Manufacturing Execution Systems Training & Support:

  • Train themselves and maintain up-to-date knowledge on MES systems in use
  • Train key users on sites, ensure information about recent changes reaches end users
  • Assist users in solving their issues or help documenting those issues to enable resolution by support teams. Follow up on significant issues
  • Perform support tasks that are assigned to them

Project participation:

  • Participate in different projects (implementation, enhancements, improvements) in Business Analyst role, facilitating project success in all phases from initiation to completion.
  • Take lead in simple projects or small work items


  • As an IT Business Analyst, it is essential to maintain regular and good communication with other members of the GBS team, with other IT departments, as well as with leaders and members of different business departments at sites within the region.
  • Act as a cooperative member of the GBS team, communicate openly and support other members of the team


  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

Health & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.


The Business Analyst will be measured on the following categories:

  • Quality of administrative tasks



  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (Engineering or IT)
  • 2-3 years experience as a business analyst, preferably in MES topics
  • Good written & oral English
  • Good communicator with the ability to work at all levels in a positive and constructive manner, ready to work as part of an international team covering sites in different countries
  • Interest in manufacturing execution systems, business applications
  • Able and willing to travel abroad


  • Experience in project management, knowledge on PMP methods
  • Knowledge on databases, SQL
  • Experience in regulated industry
  • Experience in software testing
