Lawlor Associates Recruitment Limited - Recruitment Coordinator

Our client, an international mushroom producer, is seeking to hire a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join their HR team. The position will report directly into the Recruitment Manager.

Role Overview: 

This role has special emphasis on high volume recruitment in a fast paced growing organisation. The Recruitment Co-ordinator will offer an excellent applicant and candidate experience by assisting in the coordination and administration throughout the different stages of the recruitment process.

Role Deliverables: 

Administration

  • Liaising with labour agencies to fulfil the labour requirements of Mushroom Harvesting and Operative staff in the business
  • Management of the candidate database
  • Advertising vacancies internally and externally
  • Scheduling interviews and obtaining references
  • Manage the candidate experience through the interview and offer process and up to start date, ensuring the contract offer is issued on time and to 100% accuracy and to ensure all Onboarding activities are properly undertaken at each site
  • KPI reporting
  • Co-ordinate social media advertisements
  • Responsible for GDPR relating to employee data
  • Issuing Purchase Order numbers for all recruitment invoices
  • Assisting with work permit applications
  • General HR Administration

On boarding

  • Creating a positive Onboarding experience from first contact so that candidates feel welcomed into the company
  • Development of a welcome pack for new starters with site specific information
  • Continually review the Onboarding suite of documents that are issued to new starters to assist with settling into the new country e.g. how to get a PPS/NI number, bank accounts, what to expect in your first week of work
  • Ensure sites are prepared for candidate arrival in terms of meeting with the candidate on their arrival, preparing accommodation and arranging on site induction and on the job training
  • Monitor New Starter meetings that take place in weeks 1,2,3 and 4 at each site
  • Seek feedback from sites in respect of new starters and review with Recruitment Manager

Ah Hoc Duties

  • Management of the company SharePoint portal
  • Liaising with estate agencies on staff accommodation
  • Support the HR department with ad hoc projects
  • This is not an exhaustive list and is subject to change and amendment

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes especially excel and mailmerge
  • Successful applicants will ideally hold or be working towards a third level qualification in Human Resource Management or a CIPD qualification
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role

Other Significant Role Requirements: 

  • Full clean driving licence and valid passport
  • Must have ability to travel to all company locations as required

Salary: €24,000.00 to €28,000.00 /year
