Google - Vendor Manager, YouTube Global Vendor Operations

As a Vendor Manager for YouTube Global Vendor Operations you'll manage critical workflows operated by vendors within EMEA and lead a team of Vendor Managers. Have end to end accountability of vendor performance for which includes, but not limited to overseeing staffing, SLA adherence, quality performance and other operations metrics. You'll be establishing the operation at one or more sites and partner with stakeholders, cross-functional teams and suppliers to make it a success. This role includes overall management responsibility for provisioning and enabling the Vendors to operate as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). You will also manage sections of the long-term global operational strategy and support model, including outsourcing decisions, contract agreements, vendor selection and continuous improvements of business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate risk from a delivery standpoint.

  • Lead vendor selection, consultation and overall vendor operations strategy. Manage overall performance of Vendor Operations in Region. Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain the overall regional workflow strategy. Contribute to global initiatives in defining and realizing overall operations strategy.

  • Partner with cross functional teams locally and globally to drive continuous vertical improvements and efficiencies at scale.

  • Work closely with various internal groups to understand business requirements, implement new processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Lead regional relationship with stakeholder.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in an operations, and strategy and planning capacity.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience to deliver results through cross-functional interaction with sales, marketing, finance, product development and other functions.

  • Effective program management skills and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills and keen ability to influence cross-functionally.

  • Independent, flexible, self-starter, with ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment.
