GE Digital Solutions is a high growth technical business with a global customer base. It is seeking an individual who wants a challenging but rewarding role, contributing to growing the business in line with strategic direction. The successful candidate would be expected to work with the Inspection Technologies Engineering team to assist in their day to day functions where required. This role is based in GE Sensing EMEA, Shannon. This is fixed term contract for 12 months.
Identify and implement projects to improve process/business process efficiencies, to include projects to increase yield, reduce throughput times, improve process flows, reduce costs, eliminate waste, improve safety in conjunction with other departmental representatives.
Review of Bills of Materials and work instructions for engineering release
Partner with key stakeholders to support planning complex solutions
Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Instrumentation, related field or equivalent knowledge and experience
3-5 years industry experience desired but not essential
Experience using Oracle or SAP Data Management software systems
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on own initiative and independently is a must
Strong problem solving skills.
