The Risk & Response Escalations Team coordinates across different internal and external teams to help intelligently implement enforcement and application of Facebook's policies across products like Pages, Ads, & Marketplace. Our team focuses on identifying areas for improvement, optimizing processes, solving challenging problems, and most importantly, helping to prevent them in future. This is an exciting opportunity to have direct impact on sensitive issues affecting the business and strengthen user trust on Facebook and Instagram.
The Escalations Team is looking for a specialist with a focus on Business Integrity to help Facebook build a high-quality commerce ecosystem for people around the world. We are looking for a team-oriented problem solver who can build strong cross-functional relationships and thrives in ambiguity. You work well in high pressure situations, and can quickly implement solutions, get buy-in from partners and subject matter experts as needed. You communicate clearly to various stakeholders, and provide key updates and findings as high priority escalations unfold.
Investigate reported escalations across multiple channels on Facebook and Instagram
Respond quickly, accurately and comprehensively to escalated user/press/partner inquiries
Identify gray areas in policies and gaps in processes, and use excellent judgment to resolve those issues
Interpret and enforce relevant Facebook/Instagram Community standards and policies
Develop and implement scalable solutions to support our global processes
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve Community standards enforcement, quality, reporting and tools
Collaborate with policy and product teams to drive continuous process improvements in the interest of improving user experience
Remain up to date on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates and Community Standards
Please note that occasional weekend and holiday work will be required on a shift basis
2+ years of experience in online operations, project management, online escalations or crisis management environment
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences
Ability to drive high priority cases to a suitable resolution
Conflict management skills, negotiation skills and a sense of urgency
Ability to work independently
Experience working with, or in support of diverse communities
Ability to use and learn tools like SQL and Excel to drive analytics and reporting
Bilingual / trilingual. Russian, Turkish or Polish priority languages
Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and working cross-culturally
Familiarity with Facebook Community Standards and policies
