DELL - Technical Support Engineer II

To work as a part of the Out of hours team, to provide outstanding technical support to enterprise customers as one of Technical Support Engineers you will:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction

  • Assist co-workers whenever necessary to promote a team environment

  • Work with management to help identify and successfully implement areas for business improvement

  • Supporting our customers through their technical issues through phone, email and other areas across EMEA markets

  • Stay up to date with relevant industry certifications (VMware, Cisco, Microsoft, etc)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of at least 3 of the following: VMware, Hyper-V, XenServer, Windows Server, Linux

  • Strong understanding and proven work experience with Cisco or Brocade based SAN infrastructures

  • Strong understanding and proven work experience with server and storage hardware

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Self motivated and results driven

  • Strong customer handling skills

  • Excellent planning, priority and time management skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability and approachability

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English

  • At least 3 years experience in enterprise technical support or systems/network engineering.

Education / Certification:

  • Desirable:- Degree/Diploma in IT related discipline

  • Desirable:- VCP, CCNA, MCITP, EMCPA, LPIC
