We're looking for a Senior Manager, Cloud Operations to join our growing team, based in our vibrant and newly-expanded Dublin office. This role will involve developing the team and processes to scale the Coupa Cloud for our growing customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead an Operations team to manage the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of the Coupa Cloud

  • Support a team of talented Site Reliability Engineers to ensure personal & professional growth

  • Hire, motivate and retain top talent through promotions, transfers, and new hires

  • Build upon the high standards of Coupa Cloud Operations through an automation-first philosophy, collective ownership, and continuous learning

  • Lead sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups and mid-sprint reviews and work with teams to mitigate any blockers and adapt to changing needs in fast moving environment to ensure quality delivery and meeting of commitments

  • Conceive, scope and manage multiple concurrent projects, providing project health and progress updates to executive stakeholders

  • Develop strong relationships with Engineering, Performance, Support and Success teams

  • Reporting to the Director, Cloud Operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8+ years experience of managing teams to deploy and support massive-scale enterprise web applications using Agile principles

  • An accomplished and varied Engineering background with Linux, Windows, Database and Cloud technology experience

  • Expert knowledge of massive-scale public or private cloud operations, automation, orchestration and monitoring

  • Strong Incident, Change and Problem Management experience, capable of performing critical questioning to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement

  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud/SaaS architecture using AWS and Azure platforms

  • Confident in their ability to own and deliver projects and issues to resolution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think and act globally
