About the Role

Excellent opportunity for an individual with IT skills and background in Finance to join the EMEA Finance Function of a leading MNC. This is a permanent role which will allow the successful candidate to develop, learn new skills and take on responsibility in a high performance finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Finance Team on creating efficiencies in current processes using suitable tools

  • Provide ad hoc project support to assist with finance and accounting improvement initiatives and to drive their implementation

  • Data cleansing

  • Support month end and year end close process including preparation of general ledger entries and reconciliations

  • Provide accounting support and ad hoc financial analysis to support the EMEA Finance team

About You - Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant experience of working within a finance environment or similar, preferably multinational

  • Ideal candidate would be interested in training in accountancy with 2 to 3 years experience in a finance function

  • Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Database structures and experienced excel user.

  • Knowledge of ERP SAP / SAP Hana

  • SQL desired

  • Experience in process analysis, design & documentation

  • Track record of knowledge application & results delivery

  • Curiosity for emerging technology & Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with a diverse group (executives, managers and subject matter experts)

  • Positive attitude and flexibility

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines, with accuracy and consistency

  • Highly organised, self-motivated, team player with excellent analytical skills, and an ability to handle large volumes of data

  • Fluency in a second European Language is beneficial
