What we are looking for

  • Carry out fraud prevention audits and fraud investigations in the event of suspicion of white-collar crime throughout the Group in all corporate and business functions

  • Perform risk indicator based mass data analysis to detect compliance violations

  • Conduct investigative interviews

  • Prepare audit and investigation results and working papers for legal use in compliance with data protection and labour law

  • Development of recommendations / corrective measures to improve organizational and operational structures and monitor the implementation status of measure

  • Presentation and reporting of audit and investigation results to Management

  • Advise Management on fraud prevention and further development of the internal control system

  • Perform Compliance Management System Audits to check its implementation and effectiveness

  • Further develop the process and method knowledge for fraud investigations and fraud prevention audits

Who we are seeking

For our dynamic and diverse team we are looking for a motivated person interested in developing further and grow within Uniper. The candidate should have:

  • University degree in business informatics, law, business or engineering sciences or comparable qualifications

  • Substantial relevant professional experience in auditing, consulting or controlling

  • Analytical and process-oriented thinking, critical judgement and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Mass data analysis skills and digital mindset

  • Ability to put oneself in the "perpetrator's shoes" and to develop innovative detection methods for tests

  • High degree of independence and willingness to carry out tightly structured audit plans resp. investigations

  • Strong social and presentation skills in an international environment and first-class communication skills

  • Convincing personality who can be enthusiastic about continuously changing challenges

  • Willingness to travel frequently also abroad due to international assignments

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German, ideally in other languages (e.g. Swedish, Russian)

  • Successfully passed CFE examination would be a plus.
