Optima Europe - Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative, Germany will be responsible for generating leads and scheduling demos of the AI powered SaaS solution with small, mid and large enterprise clients in the DACH region. You need to be highly results driven and have passion for digital marketing. This role is with one of the fastest growing digital marketing software vendors in Europe working with well-known global brands/clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  •  Identify, qualify, nurture and follow up on own opportunities in the DACH marke

  •  Build relationships via email and phone to generate appointments, leads and manage pipeline.

  • Comfortable in discussing and influencing decision makers over the telephone about their business marketing issues and operations.

  • Use products to demonstrate our product capabilities to potential clients via web access.

  • Consistently and regularly use CRM system to provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure lead generation synergy
     Attend regular industry and company lead generation events

  • Appropriately engage management and staff in the sales cycle and provide on-going feedback to other areas of the organisation.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  •  Successful track record in which the candidate met or exceeded quota—measured in calls/day, appointments/week, qualification of opportunities, etc.

  •  Experience in a selling environment focused on SaaS with a significant volume of outbound activity.

  • Excellent negotiation, networking and influencing skills.

  • Willingness to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment.

  • Recent experience in software technology, email, marketing automation, business intelligence, CRM software a plus.

  • Technical ability to understand overall presentations, demo, competitive differentiation and answer the standard initial questions.

  • Must have a strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments & best practices.

  • Must have a high level of energy with a very positive phone demeanour.

  • Good general understanding of business processes.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and verbally.

  • Fluency in German is a must
