MC Group - Account Manager PR

Your responsibilities

  • The effective and efficient execution of a day-to-day management, execution and development of assigned PR programs, as directed by your account team director (s)

  • Efficient management of media consultancy's units outside PR, including advertising, digital, event, publishing, TV and sports

  • To manage the resources at your disposal in the most effective way in order to achieve agreed goals and goals, and to identify and develop opportunities for additional business from existing clients

  • To establish the trust, confidence and respect of your assigned clients

  • To manage the budgets and expenditures of agreed programs and projects in an efficient and professional manner

Key tasks and priorities

Including the below but not limited to:

  • All aspects of media relations, including writing news releases, features and briefing sheets on specified formats, styles and deadlines

  • Organizing interviews, liaising with journalists

  • Identifying and maximizing opportunities for coverage, ensuring up-to-date feature opportunity lists, gaining in-depth knowledge of target media and understanding their needs / how they work - including the use of all available tools

  • Managing programs, campaigns and projects involving online media, social media and social networking engagement

  • Copywriting literature, newsletters, social media, reports, etc.

  • Monitoring media and other coverage that relate to clients' and the agency's business

  • Briefing, negotiating and liaising with other units and managing the resulting workforce;

  • Managing the organization of press and other events and functions

  • Undertaking research projects as required

  • Ensuring detailed and accurate contact, status and progress reports are prepared within the required time deadlines

  • Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to successful proposals and, where appropriate, taking part in new business presentation

  • Playing a positive and supportive role as a member of your account teams, and of media consulta

Job profiles

  • 3+ years of experience in PR duties in line with the above

  • An inherent interest in the food and health sectors

  • Excellent copywriting skills

  • Native proficiency in German, fluency in English

  • Great organizational skills and a passion for project management

  • Self-starter attitude to work independently and as a team

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

  • Outstanding analytical skills
