Kreditech Holding - Product Owner

A day in this job 

  • As part of Kreditech's product team, you'll be responsible for the operational, conceptual and creative part of the product development processes;

  • You'll be supporting bringing products from idea to go to market strategy;

  • You'll optimize existing products based on data (web analytics, a/b-tests, usability-tests);

  • Scope, plan, and supervise the execution of product-related IT- and non-IT projects for all markets (Poland, Spain, Russia, India) in close cooperation with stakeholders in both the headquarters and the subsidiaries;

  • Prepare project submissions, business requirements, and specifications for both internal development and third-party solutions;

  • Identify needs. Gather requirements and define the scope of new features to be developed in order to meet said needs as well as monitor resource availability and allocation;

  • Coordinate between engineering and management to guide new features from their inception, through technical specification, throughout development, into deployment, and ultimately long term management and maintenance;

  • Engage with Product & Engineering and Commercial teams to propose and prioritize development projects;

  • Work closely with the executive team

Desired skills and experience 

  • You have a background in product management/product development/consumer lending or similar and at least 3+ years;

  • Experience in leading IT or Banking projects with multiple stakeholders or project portfolio management across a larger organization, creating project plans and decision support material for management;

  • Hands-on expertise in project management methods and tools (Jira, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) as well as good understanding of status reporting and project budgetary progress tracking;

  • You have experience with quantitative and qualitative product testing processes (a/b, multivariate, usability);

  • Experienced in working in distributed environments and remote teams;

  • Understanding of web technologies (eg. HTML/CSS/js) or financial services process will be a plus;

  • Leadership, Hands-on attitude, delivery oriented and results driven, with a pragmatic implementation focus;

  • Follow recent trends in the digital transformation of financial services;

  • Fluent in English; additional languages like Polish, Russian or Spanish are a plus.
