In your role as Lodging Connectivity Manager, We need your primary focus to effectively handle the relationship with Lodging Connectivity Partners and optimize performance by driving the adoption of solutions and features in alignment with Expedia’s business objectives.
You will have direct responsibility for the relationship management and internal strategy relating to assigned accounts.
We will need you to be responsible for the delivery of connectivity projects, influence future product developments, and use connectivity to meet the commercial goals across Expedia Lodging business teams.
What you'll do:
Day to day relationship management for all assigned accounts and positively influencing relationships across all partner touch-points to support Expedia. You will influence the partner to implement connectivity features that align with business objectives and deliver clear business benefits.
Identify opportunities for partners to increase revenue and shift share, aligned with core commercial strengths. To do this you will understand, negotiate, and implement creative initiatives within your partnership base
Contribute to Expedia's connectivity knowledge base by developing the account profile for each of your partners and sharing an in-depth understanding of their systems by way of supporting materials.
Identify and remove technical barriers that prohibit optimal supply access.
Analyze and troubleshoot highly-complex technical integration problems, and propose effective solutions.
Drive efficiency and incremental revenue as well as actively proposing and executing solutions to the various challenges of connectivity to the partner’s systems
Work with team members to define and design solutions suited to deliver value within Expedia's lodging supply; and advise how the product should, or will, be used with specific expectations and business models of partners.
Manage connectivity implementations in defined timeframes, cost and quality levels.
Manage connectivity-related business initiatives, activities, and tasks within defined time frames.
Who you are:
A bachelor’s degree in a business and/or technical discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in Solution Selling (or equivalent) and project Management
Demonstrated ability to lead on-going business relationships
Experience with hotel systems including GDS, CRS, PMS, CM and RMS
A strong client focus and a capacity to bring partners to an efficient collaboration in a context of operational problems
Strong technical understanding
Strong organization and coordination skills.
Comfort in working with all levels/departments.
Strong communication skills, creativity and a drive for results.
Ability to speak German and Russian is required
Willingness and ability to travel 30% of the time
