We are currently looking for a passionate and courageous Global Brand Communications Manager (m/f) for our FemCare category, based in Munich (Ismaning), Germany to help drive purpose-led communications for our brands globally.
In this job you will strengthen our brand health by defining the way we communicate our brand to target audiences/consumers/customers. You will cooperate closely with brand, research and innovations teams, lead markets, corporate communications to consistently position our brand in a territory that drives company sales growth and reach overall Essity targets.
You will be joining a winning team that over the last years has brought to life taboo-smashing campaigns Red.Fit , #bloodnormal and viva la vulva, that have gained worldwide recognition and more than 100 awards for creative excellence & marketing efficiency, including 17 Cannes Lions (back to back Cannes Lions Titanium as well as Grand Prix Glass Lion for Change), D&AD Black Pencil and Impact White Pencil, Grand Prix of Excellence at Marketing Society, Grand Prix at WARC for effective use of brand purpose, and more. Essity feminine care brands globally are widely recognized for disrupting the feminine care category fighting against period-shaming stereotypes and the myth of vulva perfection.
In this position you report to the Global Marketing and Communications Director.
What You Will Do
Responsible for the global communications strategy and rollout within the FemCare Category globally
Develop and drive award-winning and effective purpose-led brand and product communications
Develop the global media strategy and guidelines based on changing media behaviors and trends
Partner with markets for seamless campaign activation in market
Measure and analyze communication effectiveness (incl. brand health) and recommend and implement as needed
Drive best practices and pilot testing of innovative media and communications in selected markets to keep the brand at the forefront
Represent the FemCare category in the global editorial network and key contact for Corporate Communications
Owns the communication budget and the relationship with creative agencies
Who You Are
Passion to work for a purpose-led brand, join a taboo-breaking team and participate in the transformation of FemCare
University degree or equivalent education
7-10 years’ communications experience working in a regional and/or global role, creative agency experience is a plus
Proven success in developing winning communication plans and experienced in media strategy
Ability to understand consumer behavior across the entire ecosystem
Ability to influence key stakeholders in a global matrix organization and effectively manage work across organizational boundaries to launch progressive campaigns in a collaborative way - high resilience and solution-oriented attitude
Fluent in English both verbally and written, other languages (Spanish, French, Russian or Arabic) are a plus
