Arvato - Manager Sales & Business Development

To help expand our business in Europe, we are looking for a Manager (m/f/x) Sales & Business Development. As Manager (m/f/x), you will develop innovative ideas for service in the strategic and pre-sales phase, which you will then bring to market-readiness in collaboration with internal units and external partners. You can choose to work either in Harsewinkel (the Bielefeld/Gütersloh/Münster/Paderborn area) or in Gennep (Netherlands).

Your challenges

  • Identifying and reaching out to large, international companies in the fields of in vitro diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and medical technology

  • Positioning Arvato Healthcare at the level of top decision-makers (VP, SVP, Board Member)

  • Developing sales strategies, developing customized solutions, systematically acquiring new customers — in close cooperation with key account management — and generating new business among existing customers in the international market

  • Monitoring the industry and market on an ongoing basis / analyzing potential customers and markets / analyzing competition and identifying new business opportunities and possible cooperation partners

  • Developing complex proposals for services including customer presentation and participating in contract negotiations

Your profile

  • Experience in establishing customer relations with top healthcare manufacturers at the management and chief-executive level

  • Professional experience in sales of complex services with a successful track record

  • Practical experience in planning, managing and conducting sales activities

  • High level of consulting skills and willingness to travel

  • Confidence in dealing with international customers

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Fluency in German and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian, Polish or Russian)
