The primary role of this position is to drive, coordinate and continuously assess the overall effectiveness and performance of the monthly Integrated Business Planning process at Area level.
Support the Commercial Director, Area Demand, Finance and EMEAP Leadership in running the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to secure highest industry standards and ensure EMEAP commercial delivery
Communicate monthly approved IBP Statements to interested stakeholders, highlighting next steps and defining action plans to exploit opportunities or avoid vulnerabilities versus business commitments
Establish strong communications within Area and Affiliate to drive best practices in understanding market dynamics, competitive landscape, sales trends and marketing campaigns and related impact on commercial models & demand plans
Collaborate with Area Leadership team, Area Demand and country stakeholders to present an integrated plan of assumptions for commercial operations
Drive and improve the New Product Introduction & End-to-life processes across EMEA
Understand Major strategies for the Area and Affiliates. Serve as a link between Global, EMEA and Affiliates
Collaborate with Finance and other interested stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with the rolling Financial forecasting (LBE) process
Continuously establishes, evaluates and improves the set of KPIs needed to best support the business planning and associated decision-making process
Proactively identify, develop and lead rollout of new tools, systems and processes to simplify and improve IBP effectiveness
Graduate university level education – preferably in business/scientific-related disciplines. Advanced degree and previous sales/marketing or other relevant experience a plus
Previous experience in the integrated business or sales and operations planning process and knowledge of class A Business Excellence concepts required
At least 3 to 5 years of previous experience within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Should include strategic/tactical medical device/healthcare marketing and/or sales
Experience including accomplishments in new market entries, product launches, project management, demand and supply management
Innovative thinking, strong analytical skills and ability to build trustworthy relationships with internal clients and other key stakeholders
Excellent ability to effectively convey clear and concise messages, tailoring training, communication and presentations to a diverse audience within the organization
Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectives
Displays a desire for continuous learning and development, demonstrating potential for growth and capability of moving on to roles with extended responsibilities
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), SAP APO or IBP demand planning modules a plus
Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of a second language is desirable
